Library Resources
The Library resources of ICMAB include books, journals, magazines and periodicals in print and electronic media and on Internet, audio-visual materials on tape and CD. The users can use the facilities of searching and browsing publications, in-house and international databases.
Classification
Library resources are classified according to the Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) scheme and Library of Congress (LC) classification scheme. Sears list of subject headings and Library of Congress subject headings are used to determine subjects. Books are arranged on the shelves subject-wise in numerical order.
Cataloguing
Books are catalogued according to Anglo-American Cataloguing Rules (AACR-2) and entered directly into the computer using OPAC, sophisticated software. Library staff are ready to assist/help any member in his/her search for desired library materials.
